General Information
What is a Tech Tag?
It is a smart tag equipped with NFC technology and QR code, which contains all the contact details of the people to contact in case of loss and the most important information about your pet in a dedicated profile.
What is the Pet Profile Page?
It is a dedicated and unique web page that contains all the information about your four-legged friend including: behavioral characteristics, medical and veterinary data and all the contact details of the people to contact in case of finding him or her after being lost.
Whoever finds your pet can then help him get home safe and sound!
Specifically, a Pet's Profile may contain:
- One or more telephone numbers
- One or more addresses
- Medical information (treatments, medications, allergies, sterilization, etc.)
- Behavioral information (whether he is comfortable with children, other people or other animals)
- Veterinary information (address and contact details of the veterinarian, information on the presence of the microchip, etc.).
Do I need the myLink Technology Tag if my Pet already has a microchip?
The microchip is extremely useful, however it has different and very limited functions compared to our Technological Tag. Even if your pet already has a microchip, our Tag provides additional and more detailed information, such as medical, behavioral, diet and allergy data, as well as emergency contacts. Furthermore, microchips can only be read with special devices, which only veterinary personnel have. Our Technological Tag, on the other hand, is compatible with any smartphone and can therefore be used by anyone who comes across a lost animal.
OUR TECHNOLOGICAL ANTI-LOSS MEDAL IS ABSOLUTELY NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR THE SUBCUTANEOUS CHIP (REQUIRED BY LAW).
Do I need the myLink Technology Tag if my pet already has a GPS tracking device?
GPS tracking devices can be useful, but they have some important limitations. They have a limited operating time, as they run on batteries, and are completely useless when the battery runs out. Secondly, they have a limited range, while the myLink Technology Tag can help people identify your dog or cat even on the other side of the world. GPS devices also require expensive monthly or yearly subscriptions to operate, while the myLink Technology Tag is completely free. Finally, GPS devices do not contain any relevant information about your pet and either require a dedicated app to be used, or are only compatible with certain operating systems (iOS or Android).
We therefore recommend that you use the myLink Technology Medal as a replacement or in addition to the GPS device you already own.
Do I need the myLink Technology Tag if my pet never leaves the house or is always under someone's supervision?
Even if your pet is rarely alone and usually does not wander off, the myLink Technology Tag provides you with essential support in an emergency. Thanks to the personalized profile page, with the myLink Technology Tag you always have important information on the health status of your four-legged friend, allergies and other medical conditions that could affect his veterinary treatment. In addition, if you are on vacation or in a different location from your usual residence, you can always keep addresses and telephone numbers updated, in the event that your pet runs away or accidentally gets lost.
Do I have to pay a monthly subscription to use the service?
No! Once you have purchased the myLink Technology Medal, you can use it for free and for an unlimited time.
How long will the myLink Technology Tag work?
Our Technological Tags are battery-free and therefore do not need to be recharged. Your pet's profile will always be available as it is on a web page.
The Technological Medal will therefore be able to last for an unlimited time.
Can I track my pet's GPS location?
Yes! Whoever finds your furry friend will be able to send you his GPS location, which you can easily open on Google Maps.
Can I see my Pet's real-time location on the map?
Our Tag is NOT a GPS device, so you will not be able to see your Pet's location in real time on the map.
What are the advantages of not being a GPS device?
- Our Technological Medal does NOT have a battery so you won't have to remember to recharge it and it will always be ready to use if needed.
- Since it is not a GPS device, it does not require a subscription to make it work, you do not have any additional costs following the purchase.
- Our Technology Tag is much smaller, more compact and lighter than a normal GPS device.
Why does the map in my myLink Account show New York?
That is a default position, so much so that under the map you can see the words "Data not yet available.."
When someone clicks the "Send Location" button on your Pet's profile, you will be able to see their current location and/or any locations previously sent.
Does the person who finds my four-legged friend and frames the QR code or brings their smartphone close to the myLink Technology Tag need an app to be able to help them?
No! Your pet's profile will be displayed directly in their browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.). They do not need to have any apps installed to help them.
Can I have multiple pet profiles linked to my profile?
Yes! You can connect as many profiles as you want to your main account. Just log in and press "Add Pet".
I just ordered a myLink Technology Tag, when can I create my pet profile?
Inside each package you will find a postcard with instructions and all the information needed to register and activate your profile.
Does the myLink Technology Medal work outside of Italy?
Absolutely! Our servers are active all over the world. If your four-legged friend gets lost while on holiday abroad, we can still find him and help him get back home to you.
Does the myLink Technology Tag work with all smartphone models?
The QR code on the tag can be scanned by any new generation smartphone, while for NFC technology, see the complete list by clicking here .
Usually all smartphones produced after 2018 support NFC technology .
What are the dimensions of a myLink Technology Tag?
Our Technology Medal is similar in size and weight to a €2 coin.
Order Information
What are the delivery times?
We usually ship orders within 1 day of purchase.
Delivery on average takes 24/48 working hours from the time of collection and is carried out via DHL (excluding Saturdays and Sundays).

How much is shipping?
Shipping of our Technological Medal is FREE throughout the country.
For overseas, shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.
What is your return policy?
If you receive a damaged or defective product, you are entitled to a 100% refund. Proof of damage must be emailed within 3 days of delivery to pets@mylinkapp.co
In case of refund, instead, in the subject of the email indicate "Refund" and the order number. In the body of the email attach one or more photos of the damaged product and as much information as possible.
You can request a return, exercising the right of withdrawal, within 14 days from the date of receipt of the product, by sending an email to pets@mylinkapp.co, indicating "Return" in the subject and the order number. In the text of the email indicate the reasons for your return.
We will provide you with instructions on where to send your return. We strongly recommend using tracked shipping to avoid your package getting lost.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Once your returned product is received and inspected, you will receive a confirmation email regarding the status of your return.
If the return is approved, a refund will be issued to the payment method originally used to place the order.
What payment methods can I use to place an order?
You can select your preferred payment method during checkout. We use secure and traceable payment methods, through credit or debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay.
How do I place an order?
Add as many products as you want to your cart and when you are ready to purchase, press the "checkout" button and follow the instructions to enter your shipping information and select your desired payment method. Once your order is received, it will be processed within 1 business day and delivered within 2 business days. Our customer service will be happy to support you with your purchase at any time!
Can I request an invoice?
Of course . After your purchase, send us an email to the following address: contact@mylinkapp.co with the subject "Request invoice for order #yourordernumber". Remember to also write us all your billing information.
How can I track the status of a shipment?
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with a link to track your shipment. If you do not receive this email, please contact us at pets@mylinkapp.co
